Guides and answers for running your team on RocketCollab.

Short, practical explainers to get set up, plus real answers to the questions we hear most before and after signup.

Getting started

The four things worth doing first, in the order most teams do them.

STEP 1

Set up your workspace

Create a workspace, invite your team, and start your first board. Boards, lists and cards work the same way whether you are running one project or twenty.

STEP 2

Quote, then contract, the work

Create a client and a quote in Billing, then start a contract in Engagements and link it to that quote. Pricing, scope and payment terms carry over instead of being retyped.

STEP 3

Track revisions against the contract

Every contract has a structured revision allowance. Open a revision round when the client reviews work, and RocketCollab tracks whether that round is included or outside scope.

STEP 4

Bring People & Payroll online

Add employee records, set pay type per person, and run your first payroll cycle once client work is flowing. Weekly and semi-monthly cycles are both supported.

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, ask us directly before you start a trial.

Yes. Signup collects a card and starts a 14-day trial; the plan you chose is charged automatically once the trial ends unless you cancel first. You will get reminder emails before that charge happens.

They are priced the same. Business HR includes the HR module and supports up to 25 seats; Business Teams drops HR and supports up to 100 seats. Pick based on whether you want RocketCollab tracking your people, or just running the work.

Engagements is Contracts and Revisions together. Contracts is a guided contract builder that can pull in an existing quote's pricing and scope. Revisions is a client review workflow that knows how many revision rounds a contract includes, so it can tell you when a round is inside or outside the agreed scope.

Yes. Every account is isolated at the data layer, and this is verified automatically on every change to the product, not just checked once at launch.

RocketCollab doesn't calculate statutory tax withholding or file payroll taxes for you - it's built to work for teams anywhere, not just one country's specific rules. You can add any deduction or contribution as a per-employee adjustment each pay period.

Yes, from your account's subscription settings. You can also switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
